!! Re-opening on Thursday 1st Feb !!

Unfortunately the Ladywood Community School ofmusic had to close it's doors in the New Year as we didn't have enough money to see us through another term. However the Council has come to our rescue and will cover our hall hire for the time being, while we try to secuire our future. This means we will re-open on Thursday 1st February with the Piano, Saxophone and Guitar lessons running from 6-7pm as usual. We are also looking for help from volunteers who are keen to be actively involved (see below).

CAN YOU HELP RUN THE mUSIC SCHOOL?

We are looking for volunteers help run and build a future for the Music School. Ideally we need two or three people to do everything on the managerial side from making funding applications to putting on events and arranging performance opportunities for student to the week to week running of the school.

Whilst the remit of the music School is to provide professional music tuition, it has always been run by volunteers. However, as a hands-on voilunteer you will gain a wealth of experience in what it takes to run a "not for profit" arts organisation including admin and managerial skills, which you willl take with you wherever you go.

If you think you can help in any capacity, please get in touch with us by phoning 07729 199 799 or emailing us at ladywoodmusic@gmail.com
